Since 2013, Kim Blackley, also known to fellow safariLIVE chatters as Kimba, has been a fan of what WE do in the African bush.

She lives in Massachusetts and discovered drive through our ongoing partnership with Nat Geo Wild. Kim saw the specials produced for Big Cat Week, hosted by Hayden Turner and Pieter Pretorius. “I discovered the live shows on YouTube and have been addicted to it since then,” she says.

Kim’s interest in the live cams was sparked by her love of photography and animals. “I love seeing the animals in the wild and learning from the guides.” Her favourite sightings include watching hyenas, especially November the female cub born in 2015, and the lions and leopards and their offspring. “I also love the elephants. So many amazing viewings altogether.”

Like many other safarians who come on board our vehicles, Kim would love to visit the sites of the amazing sights we see daily on drive. She believes that safariLIVE is educational and “it’s just amazing to see nature at its finest and live.”

“All the guides are great and full of knowledge and wisdom. It’s just a relaxing experience.” WE are happy to have Kim, and the thousands of new viewers that have joined us, as part of our wild family.
