WE are all saddened to be saying goodbye to safari guide and presenter Scott Dyson. His history with WildEarth and safariLIVE has certainly been rich and rewarding. He started with WildEarth in November 2014 with only a handful of crew.
His adventures with safariLIVE have lead to numerous unbelievable sightings, earning him his ever enduring catchphrase “Can you believe it?!”. Scott has been an invaluable member for the safariLIVE crew and family. Always up for adventure, his go-get-em attitude will be sorely missed by both viewers and crew alike.

Scott is incapable of sitting still, as many of you have come to know. He is constantly on the move and always searching for new and exciting challenges. He will be taking some time off to catch up with family and friends and to plan his next big adventure. WE are sure that we will see Scott again soon for a visit. His last official drive will be Friday 28th September.
Scott, your time as a part of the WildEarth family shall be remembered for many many years to come. Your bright and carefree attitude in the wild has always been refreshing and invigorating. Your ability to bring your sightings to life through the screen means that you truly brought the heart and soul of the African wild to everyone who was lucky enough to encounter your live guided drives. Here’s to the good prospects of your future endeavors! You will be missed hugely. Asante sana Scotty D.

Truly enjoyed your drives, Scott. Your enthusiasm and joy are infectious–thanks so much for the fun! Wishing you all the best whatever the future brings. And by the way, I also camped in the Aberdares. In my case a black-maned lion leapt on our tent and half collapsed it. That happened in January 1980, the day after Joy Adamson was found dead and presumed killed by a lion. (Later discovered to have been murdered.) It made for an interesting night–but we lived to tell the tale! Vivienne Rattray-Eaton, Manitoulin Island, Great Lakes, Canada.
First Tayla and now Scott!!! I am very sad to learn this news! Of course I wish Scott all the best in his next endeavors but as a viewer I have enjoyed all of his drives so much. He is one of my favorites and I don’t think SL will be quite the same without his enthusiasm, boyish charm and endless energy which we all enjoy. Follow your heart and be happy Scott! You will be very missed here at SL.
Oh no – I can’t do this again! I was so chuffed when you returned this last time, and although not a surprise – once again you leave us. I am going to miss you so much – your great smile, blue eyes and crazy fun laugh. Your knowledge and description of the wildlife and other parts of Nature has been so much fun. entertaining, sad and informative. But your personality needs the wind at your back and the long road ahead of you. I look forward to your next round when you return whether it is a short or long plan. Good Luck Scott; and FaceBook, Twitter and all of it is where we stay connected. Keep the happiness in your life.
Scott, I remember with fondness the tea party you had with the little Gracie from Ohio who had cancer. What a special time that was for her. Thank you for that memory.
Scott, I wish you were staying, but understand that you feel the need to move on and look for new challenges and adventures. I was sad when you left the first time, elated when you came back and now sad to hear you’re leaving again. Stay well and don’t ever lose your enthusiasm for what you’re doing. Best wishes to you and Nikki.
Scott thank you for so many great days on safari with you. Hope your future is filled with great adventures and much happiness. Will miss you a lot but wish you only the best!
Oh Scott, your leaving Safari Live will be a great loss to its viewers. However, in appreciation of your wonderful guiding and educating one must wish you only the best as you begin a new phase on life’s journey. Remember to pay a return visit if time allows. Everyone will look forward to that possibility. Your certainly have been a great asset to SL! Thank you!
Best wishes and come back to visit when ou can.
I will miss your laugh most of all Scott. I see many Can you believe it moments in your future.
I hope that when Safari Live opens new areas we may see Scotty again. He will be missed for sure but there is no way he would have been satisfied traversing Djuma. How amazing would it be if he could be the ‘On the Road’ portion of Safari Live and WE could just Go Live when needed.. All in good time with the brains and passion of our beloved Graham Wallington I am sure.
Sure will miss your drives Scott, you make them special. Good luck to your future and here’s hoping to see you again on SafariLive! Au revoir for now
and….if you ever find the source of the Nile—let me know !
This really makes me sad, what the heck is going on WE ?.
Is Nicki going with you again this time? You will be missed! As well as your “can you believe it” !
Not another guide leaving? Scott and Twyla are two of the best. They make the show interesting during the slow times. I hope this isn’t a trend. We will miss you and Tayla, Scott. Best to whatever you do next.

He won’t be missed by me he was awful!!! Only wanted to see death and wanted to get right in there and watch a defenseless baby whatever been killed by 5 Cheetah, wow I wonder how that always ends? He was burned out and a little coo-coo.
