The response to the WE Expeditions experience has been overwhelming, yet we do realise that it is not possible for all of our safari fans to come to Africa and experience the wild. That’s why WildEarth wants to bring the wild to you!
WE are developing a brand new concept centered around bringing the wild to various places in the United States, live and in real time. The proposed event will be hosted by WildEarth guides and marine biologists.
There will be a live and interactive viewing of safariLIVE where your questions will be answered exclusively. Also, our marine biologist will be operating a live underwater drone located somewhere in our planet’s oceans. This will give you the opportunity to explore the vast blue world while being able to interact with and ask questions about the weird and wonderful animals of the deep.
To top it off, our hosts will be talking about their own personal experiences whilst working for WildEarth in these remote places.
As a final cherry on top you will also get to meet and chat with the WildEarth guides and marine biologists.
It is important for us to find out if this kind of event would interest you and so we’d like to ask for just a few minutes of your time to fill out this brief survey. Let us know if this is something you’d love to attend in your home state! We certainly would love to have you all on board, just because you can’t make it to Africa, doesn’t mean that Africa and the underwater world can’t come to you!
We look forward to your feedback, in the meantime, we’ll catch you on the back of the world’s largest safari vehicle everyday, twice a day!

I just want to apologize for what seems like my negative opinions and comments! Obviously I have known that some kind of growth and revenue is necessary to continue, I was there the first time you had to shut down. I also realize that many of us couldn’t afford to aid as much as we wanted, yet others can. I am very good at steping back and seeing things from many angles and add those in my opinions.
The Mara is a beautiful place, sunrises alone are magnificent. I understand a lot of money has been spent in order to have a base camp. The migration is an awe inspiring thing for sure and bringing that to TV is a great thing. However, continuing on daily was sort of repetitive. We spend hours upon hours at the hyena den, trust me I love those dolls too. But 2 or 3 hours just there was a lot. To be honest I had a hard time watching the Mara unless there was some real action so to speak.
I have mixed feelings about the thermal camera. Sometimes it feels like cheating or something. Watching an orange and purple screen for 5 minutes or more was not only uninteresting but an eyesore after a bit. Infrared is ok but the colors of the seasons add a major sense of the habitat the animals live in.
What I am really trying to say is at Djuma we have MANY characters/animals that we are deeply invested in, especially the leopards! It is a different kind of intimacy that the Mara just can’t provide. We all have our reasons, other than the educational and entertainment, for becoming addicted to the show. Being up at 2am is not difficult for me, being up at 7, 8, or 9am is extremely difficult and I know others have their own preferences/problems.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don’t think that I am not eternally grateful for all that you have taught me and brought to my life in many other ways. I know that you have sacrificed so much for us and deserve to be rewarded for that. I also know that there is no easy solution and you are never going to please everyone. My only purpose for this (too) long comment is to help us all see the many sides of it and consider some we haven’t. I want you to be successful! No matter how it effects me. Thank you again for all you have brought to my life, it can never be forgotten!
Dear Louise,
I realise this is aimed at the US , however would WE ever consider doing the same in the UK ?
If so a big YES I would be interested and I’m sure other s would as well.
Yes I would travel to see you and yes I would pay the fee.
Please ask them to think about it for a future fundraiser / awareness scenario
Many thanks l
Sally ….a true WE fan x
