On August 25th, at 06:30 CAT the start of the Sunrise safari will start a new and exciting chapter in the history of WildEarth: The launch of our own 24/7 wildlife channel. Initially with seven hours per day of LIVE content, it is our vision to expand this to being live around the clock from around the globe. Until we get there, the remaining hours will be filled with a replay of a recent safari and many hours of beautiful and relaxing content from our archives.
From August 25th the channel will be available to DSTV subscribers in ten countries in Southern Africa, but our safaris will remain available on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Twitch as well.
The full announcement and press release can be found here.
Thank you to all our supporters and the WildEarth family, without who this would not have been possible!
Cant you extend your broadcast into the evening. 18h00 is to early we miss all the action at night. Please extend it.
I’m shocked to see it go. We only fairly rather recently found the live safari feeds. We are too old to travel. And even if we were not, Corona Virus is prohibitive. It was wonderfully entertaining and educational programming.
Love. Channel 183, the young Scottish ranger us spoiling the sightings with her non stop comments. You cannot just look and enjoy the bird sounds and scenery when she starts up again and and again. . We now switch the sound off till we see another ranger. Otherwise very interesting. I am a collector of coffee table magnificent books in the region of 50. . Being going to Kruger for about 38 years and at least 12 private lodges. The game rangers can make or destroy game viewing if the talk too much or have little knowledge to impart.
Excellent photography but some rangers never stop talking, ruining the tranquility of the scene.
Please can the female ranger from a Ngala Stop her non stop talking. She pans he camera , we can see what is happpening but she spoils i it . Ser talkscthe bvious. We just switch off her comments anyway is quite childish- we have visited private lodgEs over 12 times over the years.
Congrats. Watch safari 2X daily on YouTube keep up the great work!

We are loving the WildEarth Channel & live views where our son is based at the watering hole majestical moments#
Fantastic news congratulations, I have been watching via Youtube for the last couple of months and love the broadcast,. I was very excited to see the migration with great commentary from David. I felt as though we got to know the guides after a while, James, Lauren and Shaun and Dylan’s sense of humour is brilliant.
This is amazing news! Can’t wait, I will be tuned in permanently:) Well done WildEarth
