As the months draw on here in the African bush the days are becoming longer and much hotter. In order to keep on nature’s schedule we are going to move the Sunrise Safari earlier and our Sunset Safari later. Our favourite animal characters are at their most active in the cooler times of the day so we need to be out there with them.
From October 6th, the Sunrise Safari will start at 5.30 am CAT and finish at 9 am CAT. The Sunset Safari will still start at 3 pm, but we will extend it by half an hour so as to catch the nocturnal animals as they spring into action around dusk. The Sunset Safari will, therefore, end at 6.30 pm CAT.
Both safaris will thus be three-and-a-half hours long.

I FIND THE LIVE SAFARI VERY USEFUL IN UNDERSTANDING THE ACTUAL BEHAVIOUR OF ANIMALS IN WILD. NATURALIST HAVE VAST KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOREST FLORA AND FAUNA WHICH HELP THE VIEWERS IMMENSELY TO UNDERSTAND THE FOREST.
