Mohawk was the third of the three males who made Djuma their territory in the first qurter of 2018, coming down from the Timbavati area as the resident males of Djuma oved south and left a vacuum. He got his nickname because of a mane that did not fully fill out and shows a spike/mohawk area in the middle.He and his two male companions, Blondie and Dark Mane, fathered several cubs with the Talamati and Nkuhuma females in 2019. He is still regularly seen with the Nkuhuma pride.
